For me it would be Harrison Chimeras flood/big water rods paired with Shimano Thunnus ci4 8000....probably over £1200 worth but hey you only live once, maybe an early retirement present
I went the other way, lighter that is. at the beginning of the season, I received a pair of Harrison 11ft Chimera no.1 Avons. Instead of using my Torrex 1.75 for my barbelling, the Avons have been in constant use... landing fish to 16lb. The action is really soft, yet powerful for the test curve.
When the water levels raise in the winter, no thought of putting them down. As for reels, don't need any so use the Avons with my pair of Rapidex.
