How on earth do you get your hands on...

You will really really struggle, I found some in Bristol angling and bought two as every where I phoned said looks like shimano have no stock or won’t ever come back into stock. I have a lot in the trade and unfortunately shimano is all over the place at the moment for unknown reasons.
I have one unused I may be willing to sell as like I said I snaped them up to use two but ild rather the money towards another pin.
I had to pay 144.62 for them each plus pp they do have Dave H line on both spools. I do have a box somewhere for it as well it’s currently in a tell case.
Yours for 150 all in posted Royal Mail special,
I just don’t want to lose money on it, nor make money but if you really want one I’ll sell to you at cost.
If you need a pair I would need to think about it but double that and there yours.

I’ve been looking for a month or so and the only place I’ve seen them is Bristol Angling and I didn’t want to pay that price. Hoping they’ll be back in stock everywhere at some stage and then available for a more reasonable price.

Other options for folk trying to find one is go take a look in your local independent small tackle shop. Whenever visiting places I make a point of checking out the little tackle shops, because they don’t often sell via a website i’ve found a few discontinued gems in these places over the yrs.

I agree Alan I’ve managed to acquire some drennan super specialist duo rods in 1.5 lb new from a local tackle shop the rods were discontinued a long time ago, the shop is not on the internet but have recently got email !! I pays to go to the local boutique shop not always the Angling Direct Tesco root

For anyone looking for out of date , discontinued random items from the last 15 years try States Tackle Witney. Just use google. I have no tie up or sponsorship or involvement with them , they are just a true old school tackle shop. Yes I know school should be Sokol but I’m to old and not that up to date. Good luck people.

My best find was a new Fox Kevlex specialist, and a new Fox Kevlar barbel….both from little dusty tackle dealers up north. Not only a rarity but they were also selling cheap as discontinued stock!
