How do you defreeze the bait quicker?

I am wondering what's the best way to defreeze the bait quicker? Like cheese paste, bailies, luncheon meat. I normally just take them out and leave them in the room temperature over night, but sometimes, I need to do this much quicker, any suggestions? Thanks.

Microwave. Ours has a defrost setting of 30% of full power and I do a minute leave it for five minutes, another minute on defrost and repeat until thawed.

Ether that or leave it wrapped up in a sandwich bag and put it in a tepid bucket of water. As long as it’s sealed so to speak so the water does not get into what ever bait you’re trying to defrost. Another method is make sure sealed and the same and run it under the tap not hot water just tepid. It’s not mega quick but won’t spoil the bait but can help get you out a bind.

Don't worry about it. Most pastes become pliable very soon after being taken out of the freezer and both Boilies and meat can be mounted whilst still semi frozen and defrost very quickly once in the river ;)

I've done similar Richard but put them on the floor in the back, there's vents under the front seats to warm passengers feet. Does work surprisingly well.

I tried this before, but I did it for a longer time, and the results is a half cooked bait...will try again with your approach.

Yeah, that's what I am doing as well, it works well if I have few hours to wait.

I am sure it is in the summer, but is this also the case in the winter?
