I use these as well, but they used to be available without the Gardner sticker in sets of three for not much more than that. I can’t find them anywhere now...

Piece of pipe lagging, cut notches on one side of the split , insert swivel/knot and wrap around , bury hook into the lagging . Nice and simple and takes any length of hook length with no kinks . Pence .
