Hi all
Something I found very useful last season was to pre-tie a multitude of hooklengths (mostly to nylon but also to coated braid). Nothing revolutionary in that obviously but a nice addition to this process was to use glassine envelopes to store them in.

These are generally used for stamp collectors so they have all the qualities you'd expect for keeping stamps pristine which seemed ideal for a hooklength.
They are dirt cheap bought in bulk, come in various sizes (I use the 53x78mm), they are transluscent and you can write on them.
Tons of them e-bay:
**50 x GLASSINE ENVELOPES - 53 x 78 mm +14 mm flap*** | eBay
I use a small Daiwa hook wallet to keep them in my top pocket.
Anyway, you probably have your own way of storing hooklenghths but in case you were looking for something ....
