Gardner ultra skin needs steaming to keep it straightDrennan Sink Braid on short hook links.
Gardner Ultra Green Skin coated for longer links or long chucks.
Why short hooklinks?Drennan Sink Braid on short hook links.
Gardner Ultra Green Skin coated for longer links or long chucks.
Why only 4" ?4" Drennan Gravel Braid on fluro combis
Atomic Jel-y-Wyre on full coated links - the best coated braid IMO
Cos the main 4-5' hooklink its connected to is fluro! Why only 4" ?
Me too. N trap soft.N-trap soft for me, or the Gardner Ultraskin stuff, both coated.
It’s a combination rig Adam.Why only 4" ?
I don’t get this combo rig thing, as you said, more places to break, why not just use one hook length? You can always adjust the lead position by moving the buffer bead to make a longer hook link, but less breaking points.Combi rigs , more places to break, they can see fluro anyway,,,
Is that a combi rig then ?Cos the main 4-5' hooklink its connected to is fluro!
It’s a combination rig Adam.
The total length from lead to hook could still be several feet even if the actual hook length itself is only a few inches.
Us coated braid users get similar mechanics by stripping back afew inches
