Wish I hadn't seen this!! I'm guessing a good reel for throwing heavy weights in repeatedly all day gets great reviews. Do I need one?
 
Thanks Adam I knew that reply was coming soon! 🙈. If I got on the rivers regularly etc I could possibly justify it. It's been nearly 2 years since I fished for barbel! Looking to go end of season then ax few trips next season.

I purchased a pair of 14 ft heavy feeders at a good price and these reels will be just the job for occasional
Distance fishing on the Trent .
 
I have 2 for piking
Super reel for the money
Only criticism is that the bail arm has to be in a certain position to stay open when you are fishing a drop- off. Only a hassle on a rod pod tbh.
But at £30 - a steal
