Harrison has arrived this morning; surprised that the cork handle has filler in it but rod seems sound enough so looking forward to using it on the river come June 16th :)
 
I assume that by 'filler' u mean 'pit paste' which is used when finishing the cork handles? anyway hope you enjoy the rod as much as i did! i received mine this morning by TNT and the tube had broken in half which they wrapped some tape round "bless them" my face was a picture couple of bent rings but everything ok thankfully. really looking forward to using it cheers anthony. :)
 
I also received a rod in a tube which had been bent in two.

When I was working in the medical equipment business I had rolls of tape printed, one said,

'MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, HANDLE WITH CARE, THE NEXT LIFE IT SAVES MIGHT BE YOURS'

the other one said simply,

'DELICATE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, PLEASE THROW UNDERARM'
