harrison rod

There seems to be three rods left. Each one has a set of three thumbnail photos accompanying them. Whatever the seller told you Neil, they ARE the same set of library pictures each time. Examine them closely, set by set...and tell me I am wrong. I may not be a genius...but I do know when I see a set of identical pictures three times.

Sometimes on some of these threads I begin to wonder what is going on. I must be missing something

Cheers, Dave.

Must admit I thought the same regarding the pictures, so being another old cynic I concur Dave ;)
That said though the personal testaments on here as to the company and the quality of gear they sell seems a real plus, I have them on my radar but as yet never used them. They have a money back no quibble 7 day guarantee so that should allay all fears I guess.

I've visited Tackle Fanatics several times before they recently moved, having outgrown their old premises. They stock new items as well as used, most of the used stock is either a trade in or has been bought outright. My last purchase was a ,Fox twin tip barbel rod, unused by the previous owner, £65. That's roughly half price. I'm pretty certain they started off trading in golf equipment, before branching out into angling several years ago.

I called in and had a wiggle of one of the said rods earlier. Let me tell you it was nowhere near "good condition"....... It was excellent...:) could have been brand new..built by Vic Gibson it (they) will be a great buy for someone. Be aware though chaps the handles are extremely long, there was a good 6 inches + protruding beyond my elbow, far too long for my liking....I was quite glad to find a fault 'cos if I had arrived home this evening with another rod (or two) the current Mrs Walford would have skinned me alive...

You may well be right Dave, I don't think that you could get the duplon as clean as it is otherwise !
The three that have sold are the 2lb TC rods. Remaining three are all 1.75lb TC
