Davies Tackle 11' Harrison Avon Rod
Excellent condition. Used once and its too powerful for the stillwater it was bought for.
The Davis Tackle Avon Special is a traditional through action 11ft two piece 1lb 6oz TC rod for 4lb to 8lb lines, with slim profile lined guides and burgundy colour whippings. It is built exclusively for Davis Tackle by Harrison Advanced Rods of Liverpool, England from top quality carbon blanks and fittings with full cork handles. Although they are designed with practicality in mind, they are also pleasing to the eye. Each rod is tastefully finished with epoxy varnish over dark colour whippings (no flashy cosmetics!) and supplied in a good quality partitioned cloth bag
These rods are used exclusively by many big fish experts and have been used to land barbel to over 15lbs as well as chub to 7lbs and carp to over 28lbs (from Redmire Pool no less!).
