Groundbait bowls

Has anyone any recommendations for a good easy clean ground bait mixing bowl. Basically I have a crappy five quid collapsable material one from the tackle shop and I'm sick of packing it away after a session, leaving it a few days and coming back to find its sprouted hairy white legs and is trying to run away.

I used to use a bucket which was easy to clean after a session, but this is now difficult as I usually have the bucket full up with pellets and I can't carry two with all my tackle.

i use a cut down animal fed bucket from a equine store, myriad of sizes.

Hi Stuart

I bought a large Chub universal bait bucket, one of the insulated ones here: http://www.birdstackle.com/chub/bait_carriers.htm

The lining makes it flexible use but I tend to use it for method mixes and it cleans easy. The size means I can put my boily bucket inside plus other bits. Last time out I had enough method for 24hrs, the aforementioned boily bucket, a tub of frenzied hemp an empty maggot box (for the hemp) and a tub of corn! Makes it sound huge but it's not really. I also chuck my rubbish bag in at the end of a session. The only thing that let's it down is the length of the handles which are on the long side.

Cheers

Just put one bucket inside another, then you have a bucket containing pellets or whatever and a 2nd bucket to mix up in.

I bought a couple of those truggs at the boot sale for £1 each, I've had hemp soaking in the one for a week until I boiled it this morning and I've just mixed some groundbait in it and it worked like a charm, it's now in the back of the van full of bits and bobs which otherwise would be rolling round loose.
What did I do without it??????
Oh yeh......Tupperware.

Not sure if it is what your after my man but i got a set of Drennan super speacialist buckets,3 in total for 8 quid from Ebay. Different sizes, and very robust. I think it depends what your using it for? If im set up with my box i will take a couple of different options but if im roving i will take a solid bucket and maybe the softer one too, hope this helps
