the price of grippers is crazy i have found someone who makes them any colour sand ,gravel, green.etc with swivels for 60p. how much do you pay ..?

ive paid upto £1 for them and then lost them in the tree's and rushes lol

I make em :D

They're overrated in my opinion.

In low water conditions, on my usual river i use leads of about 3/4 oz or 2oz when theres a bit on, so no real need for them there.

i have a few, why not use them, cannot hurt i say,i don't know what i pay.

I fish a small river and will regularly use a 6oz gripper in a flood no problem. I use what I need to hold bottom, one swim I fish is a very fast corner swim and 6oz barely holds but it always produces.
