Grinder or Blender

Does it make a difference if you use a Fruit/food blender or coffee grinder for getting your pellets and boilies to powder for making paste!

im looking for something but don't wont to pay to much"

Last time I made my own paste from ground pellets I used an old coffee grinder. Then ran the powder through a pinkie riddle.
I did use my wife's smoothy maker which didn't go down too well and she didn't make any more smoothies!!! ;)
I did find the smaller grinder much easier to use, as with a larger blender/juicer you have to keep shaking the larger bits down to the bottom.

looks good for meat and bread flake" but aint shure it will grind pellets/boilies up fine enough mate! and not really into the Hard labour bud :D

Phew, that's a relief. At first look I thought the thread title was Grindr or Bendr  :D

Coffee grinder for me, in fact the one Terry has suggested looks spot on.

Been using the same moulnex Coffee grinder/ blender (not the app) for over 20 year. Think my mum had it 5 years before. It's that old it only has a 2 core lead. Anyway i use it for bread, bollies etc. Go to Tesco or Sainsbury for an own make one

thanks for the link" will these be ok for turning boilies into powder also?

Yep, it's just with boilies the 'powder' produced can be a bit stickier..so can be a bit more fiddly/time consuming. The harder the particle, the better the (coffee) grinder works compared to a blender.
If I wanted to 'powder' a load of boilies (>2kg) then I might consider using a blender (very basic, second hand one) instead.
I've got both, but for making paste-bait, I always use a grinder...but I'll blend/refine/liquidize stuff for feed/groundbait in a blender.
