Greenpeace petition

Signed by me and the current Mrs W 👍
 
I am absolutely in favour of sending this message to the government but must confess to being reluctant to do anything to support Greenpeace who would if they could have angling banned. It is a free country and each should sign or not in line with their own views and conscience. Personally I think that the anti sewage message is currently being pressed home by others who will not in the future turn on anglers despite having been supported by them.

I don't doubt that there are members or the odd local group that have those views, but it's never been a position of the organisation. And they have bigger fish to fry with important, worthy campaigns such as climate change (fossil fuels, deforestation, renewables) and protecting the oceans against deep sea mining, overfishing, whale hunting etc.
