Hi all, I'm after a very good set of winter gloves as of Saturday il be fully equipped with all the winter clothing but gloves. And when I say winter I mean Baltic conditions that we are used to as il be off fishing near enough every Friday till Sunday throughout the winter including new year :)
Thanks.

Lol I'm going all weekend every weekend come end of november :) even crimbo eve and new years eve il be there ;).

Wayne, the neoprene type, with the fold back forefinger and thumb are very good. :)

Thanks Derek Iv seen them on eBay is there any particular make that's better than others or are they all the same?
Regards

I have some Ron Thompson neoprene gloves, but I really don't like them. They are very stiff, and rather tight to pull on, and the materials used aren't very soft. Also, I don't think they are breathable so if your hands are damp when you put the gloves back on, they stay damp.

I've been looking at these nice fleecy ones from Trakker, with a a flip-back mitten-style cover for the fingers. Being Polartec, they should be breathable, but I don't know about waterproof.

All the fishing gloves I've looked at have poor protection for the wrists.

Seen the Trakker ones good thng is they are mittens so the heat from each finger is transferred To other fingers ;) the thing is they are fleece so can't see them been waterproof but will look Saturday when I go for my Trakker tundra 3 in 1.
Thanks.

Ron thompson neoprene gloves are ****, i have an old pair of sundrdige fleece/neoprene mittens that are very good, suggest look at their website to see if they still do them.
