Golden Barbel, are there any still about

As Mike has said, we used to catch a few of them on our local stretch a few years ago now, (between 2003-2006), I think I had about 5 or 6 between 4lb-7lb, and as stated, they literally disappeared post 2007.

Look at the top lobe of the tail and the dorsal, then look at the first photo. Its without doubt the same fish .
