I generally fish longer sessions on bigger rivers and don't travel light so I need tackle, bait, food, drinks, camera, and such. I'm not afraid of walking to those far off swims.

Does anyone have one or tried one out?

Thanks in advance.

Stephen

i got this for this new season, for me its way to big, because i usally only do short 4 hour sessions, but for what you describe it will be perfect. Comfortable on the back even when it is full. Easily enuff room in there to take all the stuff you have descibed.

Also bought one of these ready for the new season. I've been impressed with it so far and it has loads of room in it for the extra items you may require on a longer session and as already mentioned is very comfortable on the back.

would go for the greys progidy one if it was me. Fantastic bag

I have had my Gardner Rucksack 4 years use it 5 times a week great piece of kit, still going strong.

Regards Ray Thorpe.

Into my third season with mine and it's been great, plenty of room for all the kit, AND my flask and food. Only negative is that it's not too good at resisting stair-rod downpours! the upper compartment usually needs draining off after the rain stops.

Thanks for all the posts once again.

I went to my local tackle shop who show the Gardner on their website but alas, it was out of stock. However, I took the opportunity to look at some of the other offerings. I was seriously impressed with the Greys Prodigy! Sure, it is maybe a touch big but it was very comfortable and of excellent quality. Of course, there is no prerequisite to fill it up every time one uses it.

Anyhow, will try and catch the Gardner before I decide.

Stephen
