Free spirit rod choice?

I am sure it is. To me the most important thing is easy to travel since most of my fishing is done with my bike (did I mention it’s a folding bike).

I have both John Wilson and JW young travel rods, but I want to upgrade to something better.
 
I haven't tried the other rods you mention, however I'm sure the Harrison will prove to be a worthy upgrade.

I like your style - biking to the bank. Intrepid! :)

Thanks Richard, I am still waiting for Dave's response, and hopefully he will agree with my customisation ideas.
I live close to the Thames, and the canal is even close, and I normally do short session and roving the river a lot, so I found biking is the best way. The only problem is limited rod choice since it is nightmare to carry 2pc 11ft+ rod. On the other hand, save me a lot money on rods. :)
