Free spirit River Tamer 11ft 1.5

11ft Seeker is a cracking rod. My favourite by far at the moment.. I also use a 12ft Seeker and a Harrison 11ft 1.6 Avon

I have both 11ft tamer and 11ft seeker, the seeker is a cracking rod, I still think it is the best 11ft barbel rod out there. The action is similar to the tamer, true through action with strong butt but better blank, slimmer and more responsive. And the handle is normal size.

I can see me ordering one .I fish mainly the pin I'm sure it would me a great combination

I use 8lb Hyper Sensor with mine. No great logic, just seems right for a rod that I see as my clubbing / roaming rod, and for where I fish.

I wouldn't worry about line ratings. Use what you need for the River you fish. I'm happily using 12lb on mine. Probably the best rod I've ever used. Superb through action, love it

Is this the barbel seeker 1.75lb or the seeker specialist 1.5lb?
 
Going off huanzhuo words I took a pun and bought a seeker 11ft 1.75.. I av to say what he said is rite the seeker is more responsive lighter and just all round better rod not knocking the the tamer as it's a cracking rod .there's a difference in price for a reason. Like iv say before iv add torrix and there havnt been to my liking but the seeker 11ft barbel is a little gem .

I’m the same had 1.5, 1.75 and 2 lb torrix and just prefer the S range barbel seekers.
