FREE SPIRIT HI S 11ft Specialist 1lb " SOLD"

One of the best players rods for fish up to a certain size. Use mine with the kids for Chub fishing in the summer when it's nice and easy and you can see them. Strolled onto a chubby bit of the Mole, and there was a single barbel on the spot. Suffice to say the kids didn't get a go i pulled in a lovely little borris, they were very impressed....
you do love a hi s jon

True Terry - I dont like the Hi S float rods, snapped two of them... and one of the carp stalkers too - though that was user error.

I wish they'd make a light barbel rod, 1.5 - 1.75 test, 11ft 6in. Could be a great small river rod where you dont need to check out loads of lead.

I've had barbel to 14lb plus on the 11ft small water rod, with no issues guys.👍

I’ve got a little 11ft small water hi-s rod i had it made with titanium guides and anti frap tip ring what a difference it’s made having lighter guides on

They do have 11ft in 1.5lb in tamer and specialist range.

The tamer range are nice rods aswell for the money. The original tamer was a great rod

The free spirit hi s 1lb small water, is closer too 1.5lb.
1lb is close too it's weight lol.
Great messing about rod.
I still have one for sale if anyone wants one.

Cheers chaps - I was just confused about the test curve rating in Adam's initial post. 1lb/1.5lb tc? Would have thought it's either one or the other?
On Mark Tunley's website he said its more a 1.5lb test.
I was initially disappointed with it, because of the so called 1lb rating, but it's since been a great little rod in use.

There was talk over the past 5 years or so, that Freespirit were going to bring out a seperate quiver top section for it, but it's never materialised.
They did supply a quiver section for my 11'&12' F.S gold rods.
