you do love a hi s jonOne of the best players rods for fish up to a certain size. Use mine with the kids for Chub fishing in the summer when it's nice and easy and you can see them. Strolled onto a chubby bit of the Mole, and there was a single barbel on the spot. Suffice to say the kids didn't get a go i pulled in a lovely little borris, they were very impressed....
True Terry - I dont like the Hi S float rods, snapped two of them... and one of the carp stalkers too - though that was user error.
I wish they'd make a light barbel rod, 1.5 - 1.75 test, 11ft 6in. Could be a great small river rod where you dont need to check out loads of leadFreespirit 11'
