Fox Specialist Brolly Bargain

I have one but prefer my drennan specialist brolly there’s not many smaller quivers the fox fits in

Yodel were meant to deliver mine yesterday between 5:32 and 7:32. Used the tracking number to see where it was at about 2 o’clock and it said it was 44 stops away. That never changed all night and went to bed at half 10 with it still saying the same. They delivered it today at 12:30 this afternoon then had the cheek to txt me to ask if I was satisfied with the service
Well, you had better luck than me Jon. I also ordered mine on Friday morning and was surprised when Yodel said it would be delivered the next day via their tracking site. As Iwas not going to be in and had nobody else to wait in for it, I rescheduled the delivery for Monday.… As luck would have it I had to deal with a heating issue at my mum’s that morning but I did have someone who could wait in for it. The delivery slot came and went which was when I discovered that they couldn’t find my house….

Long story short, AD did receive it back and immediately returned it to Yodel (groan!!) for redelivery. This allegedly happened today while I was again not home and the photo of it being delivered showing a grateful recipient standing in a open door is instead of a parcel stood next to a random door, which is definitely not mine. I have also checked our CCTV and there is no sign of anybody coming up to the house at the time that the parcel was ‘delivered’. Yodel are still investigating….but I am convinced that either the courier or somebody else has now got my brolly and I will never see it. 🤬

I have nothing but contempt for Yodel and it’s supposed customer service whereas Sheila at AD has been very helpful and has done all she can to try to get the parcel to me (apart, sadly, from ignoring my request not to use Yodel for the re delivery).

Unfortunately, we cannot choose which courier a business uses to send parcels to us but the lesson I have learnt is:

NEVER EVER USE YODEL AS A PARCEL COURIER

Had a few parcels delivered by Yodel lately and not had a problem
Although I’m usually at home to receive them

Guess I got lucky with my Yodel brolly delivery. Ordered it at 15.30 on Thursday then got an email on Friday morning with a link on Driver Delivery progress,
Whilst on that app page you have to keep refreshing the driver map.
All the Delivery's ive had from AD in the past have been via Dpd.
Sounds like AD are going to get no end of complaints switching to Yodel.

I've had mine for 7 years, used it twice a week most weeks, and it still keeps me dry in the worst of rain, storm poles ( I use long bank sticks ) keep it stable in the worst of winds, Other brolly's I've had have leaked through the boss after only a few sessions, and had a few turn inside out in heavy winds, anyone buying it wont regret it.

Amazingly, there was a happy ending. Having received a copy of the GPS data for the delivery from AD, we knew where the parcel had been photographed and that house is just over the road and visible from ours. What is more, when we looked, there was the parcel still propped against the door, 21 hours after its ‘delivery’! It is now safely in my possession but I remain firmly of the opinion that Yodel absolutely suck as couriers….🤬🤬😖

really depends if you have a good Yodel driver in your area or a bad one
my last 4 delivery's from Yodel have been complete perfection

its the same with ANY parcel delivery company you get good and bad you just need to live in the real world and realise it aint a perfect world

Fair enough Gerry but Yodel’s customer service (or lack thereof) is appalling. When I eventually received the results of their investigation, they stated categorically that the driver has delivered the parcel to the correct address. The GPS data that AD obtained and forwarded to me, was quite clear in that the customer location and the site of the parcel drop were at least 50m apart. The only thing right about it was that it was delivered to house number 2 but in the wrong street!
