Fox digital scales calibration

A quick web search and if you using FOX digital CEI155 Digital Scales then unfortunately in the manual it says that you have to send them back to Fox for recalibration. At a cost. If you have a verified weight ie an oz or lb weight I would weigh it and see what it says to see how far out of calibration it is then adjust your weighing accordingly.

They are that model . There is nothing online or YouTube on how to calibrate them . They are miles out as I checked them with 2 other sets of scales ( both new) . Also checked them in work with a bloke who comes into calibrate the work scales. He couldn't figure out how to reset them so it looks like they will be sent back to fox .

Here's the link to the manual. Just incase your interested in what it says regarding calibration. I've checked their website to see if i can find a price for calibration but unfortunately I can't find any information so you would have to contact them directly. Although a web search for costs says that it's £35 plus postage.
 
Had some fox digitals years ago. After 2 years they started weighing all over the shop. Weigh a fish 3 times and get 3 wildly different weights. Contacted fox and they said I’d have to post them to them with a cheque for £35. Decided to just put that money into a new set of dials instead.
