Lol. I'll be out Saturday night but it's not looking good. One or two of my fancied spots are under water.

Quite a bit of water can drain away or be absorbed in 50-odd hours. The water table must've been pretty low before this recent rain. Having said that if there's more rain tomorrow and Saturday it,'ll be a different story.
Either way, I'll be out fishing the slacks with a 1oz lead.

Severn is in the fields now, less rain today, but more rain on Saturday will make it impossible for Sunday. Probably best to wait a couple of days, the forecast next week is better, at least many can get out after work with the long evenings. As Derek says , safety first.

Staying local and I’ll be on the ribble ready for midnight. Fancied the Trent or Severn this Saturday night but flooding seems to put me off until midweek
