Fixed spool reels for float fishing

Plenty of good reels out there, go for a front drag they tend to be smoother and more compact. If you have small hands go for 3000 size , big hands 4000 size. I use Shakespeare mach 3 4000's which came with 4 metal spools a couple shallow, but they have not been made for 10 years. There is an unused Mach 3 4000 on a buy it now /offer on Ebay close to your price range. They look very similar to the Cadence reels above just not as space age. If you can get the front drag cadence with a BOGOF deal you will at least have a guarantee.

What about this ....front drag 😁

Been using the cadence 4000 reels all season for chub and float fishing
The CS8 is very light but not massively different to the CS6 in performance
Really pleased with them
Cadence often have deals on and even if they don’t a cheeky email will probably get you something off
