I suppose it'll depend on whether there's a remote or timer option though.

No remote listed in the spec. There is a timer but not the multi-shot timer of the Canon cameras. The timer can be set for 2 secs or 10 secs, and a setting called "double" which I presume means it takes twice. Better than nothing but a deal breaker for me. A shame as with a multi-shot timer, this would be a brilliant self-take fishing camera.

I have been fancying the Lumix G3, not quite what you was asking but it is a fantastic bit of kit
