Hi everyone,

Here are the nominations for the October 2012 Fish of the Month competition sponsored by Pallatrax.

Don't forget to add the weight of your fish to your gallery entries to ensure they're eligible for the competition. I don't include fish stated simply as 'double', even though they're obviously potential winners.

Many thanks to Pallatrax who offer a fantastic prize to the winner every month.

Some belting looking fish this month

The Teme pic is is superb, but........... for me the young un from the Trent gets my vote !

A picture tells a thousand words as they say and theres no mistaking how chuffed he is about his capture ;)

The Derwent for me followed by the Thames.

I can see why the young lads Trent capture is getting plenty of votes but I am voting for the most notable fish not the fisherman with the biggest smile.

I was temped by the kid's smile, but the captor of the Ivel fish looks delighted as he should be and has probably had to work hard for the fish. He knows what he has got in his hands and yes I'm jealous.
