I am probably wasting my time here but for sale is my custom built 11' Harrison Avon 4 pc - 1 lbs. 8oz Modern take on the traditional through action river rod in 4 equal sections.

I had this custom built by Bob Gill and its signed. Due to injury I doubt I will ever get to use it or get it wet. I have already lost the actual build spec :eek: but from memory it is:

Smooth grey matt blank
Abbreviated Duplon Handle
Black K series anti tangle rings
aligner dots
Black whippings with blue tippets

A real work of art from Bob Gill and a pity I will never use it, it was not cheap. I am selling for £250 plus postage costs and insurance. If anybody is seriously interested I will try to take some photos.

That would be kind of you...thank you

The Specialist has finally admitted that I will not gain a great deal of weight bearing movement back in my knee, so affecting many simple things in the future.

As I said before, the rod is a work of art and I have no regrets over having it made, who knows a few years down the line I may eventually get use it if there is no interest.

Hello All

Its been a long time.

I have resurrected this thread as the rod should still go to a good home that will use it. I thought I would give it another go at selling it here.

Its still never been used and all this time has been kept in its bag so the bag is now slightly dusty. Would prefere collection but would post at cost.

Now £200
