There's 1 drennan IM9 compact 13' float rod on ebay, if anyone's interested. Lovely rods, & not a bad price considering what I paid for a few years back. There's only one for sale from thus seller.

The compact design allows the blank to be folded down into two equal sections into 6ft (1.84m), so it is very much easier to transport fully made up float rigs. Importantly, balance is further improved as there is only one joint in front of the hand.

Yeah it does a bit, I've had some nice chub on them when I used it a few years ago.
