Day three at Upton Rescue in photos.

Evening All,
Here's a few from day three .We fished this small ditch and caught more bream and one very big Common Carp which made it worthwhile.

The job is still ongoing on other bits where we are still finding fish, and are waiting for levels to drop to get at them.

By the way ,most of the fisheries team are female,us big hairy arsed bailiffs got moved into Enforcement duties in 2009 when major changes took place.

This was the first time I seen the team in real life pressure situation and they responded magnificently in a very professional manner, never moaning and getting stuck in whatever the weather or the job threw at them.

This is at the end of the central ditch, where we had to cut the fence back as it was blocking the exit of the fish as they tried to get back on there own.
The team is putting a stop net in prior to walking up stream with hand nets first.

Right result,25lbs of pristine Carp is safe and going back to the river.
