Hi chaps,

I have had this super rod for just under a year after a swap with another BFW member. I caught my PB barbel with it on its first outing, but it hasn't had a lot of love since then as I have landed on a preference for 11' barbel rods.

The original owner conceived the rod as a specialist stalking rod for roaming for everything! It has done big barbel on the Trent, it’s also been used for light deadbait fishing, a specimen tench rod and also for zander. It was designed primarily as a do anything specialist rod. I have used it once for pike, but I also have a beautiful pair of Fox Predator XS so I lean towards those for piking.

It’s a lovely lightweight rod with eight Kigan guides (25mm butt ring but a 12mm tip ring so that weed and stop knotts flow through it dead easy). The handle was originally abbreviated, but I had a full cork handle fitted by Chas Burns as that was my preference. It as a Fuji seat and a nice big folding Fuji hook keeper for big hooks and strength.

It's in mint condition and has the original bag supplied by Dave Lumb which is also mint (see photos below- please note, these were before I had the handle changed. I'll post a pic of the new handle when I am back at home).

I'm looking for £200 ovno with collection in York.

PM's please if you are interested.
