Dane day ticket

Steve Beech,RO for the Barbel Society in Cheshire, is the secretary of Middlewich AC so I am sure he could help you.He fishes the area on a regular basis.
Cheers.

Used to fish the stretch which goes under the M6 at Holmes Chapel fo a mile or so, got tickets from the farm above the motorway where we accessed and parked under the M6 bridge...........Is that still day ticket??

It was about 25-30 years ago!!!

There is a tackle shop in Middlewich - 'Dave's', I think. They should be able to help.

I used to fish the stretch mentioned in the previous post (Holmes Chapel). I think it was a fiver on the bank, but that was a few years ago.

Regards

Mike

Steve Beech is secretary for Winsford Anglers, season ticket £25 ,no longer do day tickets..The stretch under M6 is owned by Bay Malton, no day tickets.
Daves tackle shop in Middlewich sells day tickets for Middlewich AA, for the length at Byley. As far as I know that is the only water on the Dane available to day ticket anglers.

i phoned daves of middlewich about there stretch a few weeks ago after posting the same question on the dane thread, if its barbel your after your prob better off joining one of the controlling clubs as according to the shop, its predominantly chub and very few barbel, they do come out but only occassionaly.

cheers

Hope your keeping well.

Now waiting for my 3rd new knee, (Jake the peg :)) not been off crutches for over 3 years.
At least being old and knackered means I can get cheap club books which in most cases is only the cost of about 3 day tickets :)
