Really Great no nonsense reels these are. The 1600 just fits lovely with those 1-2lb tc rods.
Worm drive shaft for the oscillation. No finer way to get the best line lay. People say they are dated but a lot of these modern reels use gears for oscillation. Now that’s a step backwards imo.
