Hi chaps , does anyone have any info on the Daiwa Spectron SPM1315 W-AU.
Match float.....
I know it's rated 2-8lb.
But was wondering if anyone knows the confirmation of the length of sections and dolly..
Thanks...

Got the spec and section measurements now thanks.
And if anyone is interested at almost half price, I think fishing mad have one left...

I had one.
It was a lovely rod and quite well suited to dealing with big fish.
On most daiwa rods certainly from early 2000’s the length is in the rod code
1315 - 13ft 15ft so it’s a 3 piece 13ft match rod with 2ft dolly section.

The spectron spm214xp (mk2 14ft xtra power) was imo and still is one of the best barbel float rods money could buy.

Thanks for your input Richard, always worthwhile to read with interest,,,, I'm still looking for the perfect barbel rod , and nothing yet coming close to the tfg tremor.
But it always comes down to scenarios, and mine are very variable...
I've got a 3rod short list for barbel on the float..
But the same rods are just as capable for margin carp and tench work.
Which I'm hoping the Harrison Mk2 15ft float will serve me well.
I'm pretty sure we are all learning more about our float rods as we use them.

And eagerly look forward to hearing everyones thoughts about there's...

I’m gonna have to keep a sharp eye out for a tremor by the sound of it.
