Daiwa GS 4000 QD Conversion

Hi Alan, I've done it and it's very straightforward, even for a self confessed imbecile like me . Can't remember where I sourced the conversion kit from but probably e-bay, where they are still available as we speak. The result was good, no issues at all.
 
Why would you want to limit the reels drag?

Utterly pointless thing to do for a barbel fishing reel, imo.
