I have a pair on my carp rods. I would consider them too large for barbel rods mate if thats what you were thinking? They are marketed as 'baby big pit reels' and I guess compared to Basias they are, but they are still large reels in comparison to SS2600's or Shimano 5000 series reels.

Thanks for that, havnt seen them in the flesh , just wondering on suitability size wise , i'll stick to my ss2600's i think , cheers
 
They’re the same size as a cast’izm aren’t they but in blue and silver not black and red and have a shallower spool.
