DAIWA Amorphous Whisker 13ft Harrier Match Stick Float Special awm 13s

So update,

We are not back at full length but closer than we was before,

It’s a nice fit some light sanding and a nice snug fit, feels nice and fine through the rod,

There is approx 50/55mm of solid tip in the the top section. So some of the length reduction was in In me damaging the carrier section getting old spliced tip up.

So this is probably end of the road and will be whipped up.

It’s now the 12ft something odd stick float special 2024 edition 😂

It was just in case I do sent want the carbon to split as I was pulling it through, insurance policy 😂
Try and get your ring pattern to fall in line so that you end up with a guide on the solid tip below the joint. That way you use the same whipping to do both jobs. Much neater job and a lot of spliced rods don’t think about that.
It’s very difficult to see the joint where ive spliced this one.

so this is the original rings the double leg as photoed was set like that before I started striping it, I’m kinda thinking to change it to a single as per you got above to hide the splice.

Ignore the extra random tip ring playing around with ringing.

It needs one more guide where that temp temp ring is so shows what was missing.
