Does anyone have any advice on size and performance of the Daiwa 5000 s Linear baitrunner?

I guess you were expecting something close to a standard 5000 sized Shimano Baitrunner? They are bigger than the Ultegra 5500 XTB. I hope I haven't spoiled your day.

XTB 5500 is around 20oz. The 5000 Linear is 26.1oz

I have 2 of them and they are great but blooming mahussive and @ 1kg each they are heavy. Cant fault them on the Tidal Trent when in flood, bags of power but i have just replaced mine with the shimano LC's.
