My barbel fishing is definitely heading in different directions and these bad boys are not getting the attention they deserve. I love em but I don’t need them.

Im not ledgering much nowadays and im certainly not launching lead into the horizon anymore
Ultimately I’ll be going to 1 set of barbel rods to cover my needs but that’s another discussion for another day. I’m letting my lumby c3’s go.

Spec …..
DLST built
chimera specialist no 3 12ft 2.25lb
25mm - 10mm Fuji k series guides in BC
18mm Fuji DPS reel seat in BC
Full A grade cork handle flared ends
Hook keeper and section identification
Ground Matt blank with black whippings.
White n black contrasting sight tip which is my own personal design
Whipped and shrunk 25x3 Korda isotopes
Original Harrison rod bags bought as an extra to keep them stored

Rods are less than 1 year old have been used a handful of times and they are completely unmarked. Immaculate condition. Caught just afew barbel on them. They probably ain’t even bedded in properly yet.

The TC in my opinion is underrated.
These are the ultimate Harrison power rod capable of putting over 6 oz across the biggest of rivers and they will deal with more than any off the shelf 2.5 or 2.75 ever can

The action is progressive and the stiffish tips slow things right down allowing any size barbel to bend it as it should. Despite its awesome power, it’s a real pleasure to play big fish on

I paid a lot of money to have these built the way I wanted. £600.00 ovno takes the pair
No post on these but half way meet ups are possible if it works geographically

Stunning rod, unfortunately I can’t justify buying them with the amount of times I manage to get on the bank but a real bargain at that price.

I always enjoy your descriptions when you are selling. Quite simply the best! TSI in fact, thanks Derek! Apart from my impecuniosity, old age, cowardice( the RSM lurks) and new year resolution, broken already due to that Robert guy, I do enjoy reading still!

Bargain.

Maybe not the best time for selling higher value items? Reckon these may have sold straightaway in Feb.
I shared with my mate who’s after some and exactly that- just rotten timing
Thing is he’d like them but doesn’t need them
Close season they’d have gone in a flash
They’ll still go
