Couriers

Interparcel.com and use Ups

+1 to Clive,
Absolutely 1st class service via Interparcel & UPS, not too bad cost wise either...£11-£15 insured.

Andy

Go direct to the ups site, I was getting 12' 2 piece rods collected and delivered for £8 not long ago, cheaper than going through interparcel

I'm out now but I'll try and post a link when I'm back at my computer

I've sold quite a few rods via ebay etc inc 6ft+ tubes and I've always used Parcel Force 48 Hour, door to door service, without any issues.

Interparcel and UPS. Never had any problems with rod deliveries. Hermes is a totally different barrel of fish different. Will not use them ever again.

Interesting Neil , never used the parcelforce door to door , but if you access Parcelforce via the post office they won't touch tubes of that length :(

Easy via the website, enter collection address, delivery address, parcel detail (weights and dims), pay fee, they collect and you track progress online.

It's been 12 months since I've sold a rod however.
