Could be a return for a Midlands angling show

Looks like there’s an attempt to bringing an angling event back to the Midlands. The focus being: Match / Course / River / Pleasure angling.

The Big One used to be at Stoneleigh but struggled after Covid and to be honest the last event had turned into a Carp-fest with very little presence from non-carpy brands.

I messaged the organisers a few years ago asking “why don’t you alternate each year between Stoneleigh and Farnborough” but they said there was little interest from brands to do a Midlands show. Hopefully, thats about to change.

The Big One mentioned this on their Facebook page in May, but there's been no update since then.

Not sure I'd visit a show filled with Steve Ringer wannabes, £6k poles, bolo floats and every type of sensas groundbait known to man on the off chance Vortex baits might have a deal on boosted cocoons (!!!)
