Confectionary flavour

Does anyone use a Boilie or Paste with a Confectionary flavour at this time of year? . I tried a boilie from an on line bait company the other day and I had a Barbel within 30 minuets. Totaly new bait to this water I believe. I was delighted as I have a Kilo to use up. I believe it had a milk protein base but not a usual taste for that type of bait. Any views on this type of bait for winter use? . Graham.
