Dipped into a few chapters of both book so far. Highly recommended!

A jet boiler, 15ft float rod and a Tfg classic pin, assorted chocs which I should stay off of.

Thank you for the nice posts. Not a bolt from the blue, but still shocked by the nastiness of the timing. Been a really good season for Barbel so far.
I have an eleven year old daughter who is pure magic, despite the fractured family she finds herself in.
A stunning daughter, a few days fishing, and good friends is good enough for me.
Shaun of the gratitude.

A Billy's Backbiter pike alarm, Dream Pike by Stephen Harper and various non fishing-related gifts, a great day altogether, got chance to make christmas dinner for 8 in my tiny kitchen

some polartex gloves n a pair of dirt boots, tried em both out today well impressed, but not with the fishing 1 bream 2an half pound,, bah

My son catching an 8lb 12oz barbel off the Tees using a 1lb tc rod, 6lb mainline to a 5lb hooklength and a size 14 hook. We were both grinning like Cheshire cats. Tried to post a photo from my album but can't get it to work for some reason.

Santa bought me a kindle. I have to say that despite the pressure to enjoy gifts you might not have wished for, the kindle is becoming quite a companion. I'm not really missing the feel of that book that I thought I might.

Regards

Damian

Two books, A Passion for Angling.....signed by Bob, Chris, Hugh and Bernard,
also Catching the impossible, signed by Martin and Hugh..............
The pictures and graphics in A Passion for Angling are out of this world, plus 100 metres of 35mm of PVA net, enough to last the rest of the season, and 2012 and 2013 and so on, plus some fish catch log books, and the way i have been catching this season i reckon they should last forever.
Brian.

Sounds as you did well Brian, I have had the Passion for Angling Book for some time now and it is a treasure, as far as Catching the Impossible I am still waiting, apparently I was going to get a copy last year but Santa forgot,:( apparently it was going to be signed by Hugh himself, via a mutual friend , but was forgotten.
Still cant complain I got from the mutual friend a lovely Shakespeare type haversack/ seat instead:D
Swop shop?

Petition for Divorce. Found it on my pillow Christmas eve. The envelope was addressed, ''For Shaun''. I noticed from the postmark that Santa received this on the 7th Dec. Santa can be a right sick bunny at times

Sorry to hear that Shaun, I reckon mine was lost in the post :)
