The only magazine I subscribe to now is Waterlog , great read and not a lot of product placement

very sad to see it go but the " product placement " was nowhere near as bad as most of the other monthly`s and its was`nt full of pole fishing or carp.
they have to raise income from adverts etc but that`s just the way things are nowadays but it was a hard job to find it on the shelves in the high st newsagents so maybe a marketing push could have helped first but it was the only mag i`ve ever subscribed to and would rather read old back issues than some of the rubbish monthly`s that are on the shelves at the monment.
