I've taken my own advice and invested so sat anticipating delivery of 2 x custom Dave Lumb BB350s( heavy pike rods). I'm like a kid at Christmas.
What is it with fishing rods???
Might be the last ones for a while when the gas & leccy goes up.

Nice!!!! Proper bait launching tools thrm.

So I understand Rich. Always prefer a ' players' rod like a P1. Have the X1s which are fantastic and the original Fox predators both are perfect for most of what I do but this winter have struggled with big baits into the wind and also doing more at range using b/ boats.
But just an excuse to be honest 😉

Back on subject after the porn hijack; the soap used by mechanics Swarfeega and the dry stuff sold in Lidl and the like get my grubby, groundbait encrusted rod handles clean again. And no need for abrasivss. Just a wet cloth.

I have been told under good authority that the Bb350 doesn’t lack in its ability to play fish under the rod tip. It’s still very good at this being a clever blank. I think you’ll love em mate.
They make great car rods too apparently.
