Christmas Books

Cheers for that one David,i have now got one sorted. A few people have recommended 'A fool and his eel' by Mark walsingham ,i just got a copy from coch-y-bonddu they are selling it for £14.95 plus postage, over 400 pages,32 chapters and as Joe said earlier 'A possible classic' an absolute steal at that price. It both looks and reads very well, fantastic photography and great stories, not one about Eels.

Alan Rawden's book Backwinding is an excellent read, and full of detailed and absorbing accounts of his fishing life.
The Barbel Society book, Barbel Tales, is also a great read, with a tremendous variety of chapters.

Try the ''Glorious Uncertainty '' by John Aston . Beautifully written , amusing and inciteful in to why we fish , in my view a future classic of angling literature
