Cheesepaste Too Stiff

Matt White

Senior Member
What's the best way to soften a batch of cheesepaste?

Its made with breadcrumb, stilton and mature cheddar.

I know there are other recipes or I could just throw it away but id like to salvage it as it smells fantastic.

Cheers

Veg oil / soya oil or butter

If it was me I would prob go down the butter route make sure it’s almost rock hard margarine is fine and re mould it all together a bit at a time untill you get where you need. Need it all together and you may just be alright :)

I use milk protein base mix now with a decent cheese flavour mainly because the mix is less faff in cold weathers

I do make a stiffer one for warmer times
