I know a man who had a 9lb 15oz to say he was gutted well you còuld imagine what he said but hat of to him he wouldn't callit 10lb because it wasntHas anybody ever had that impossible 10lb in a Tinca?

Yes. But painfully busy by all accounts.If you realy want a 10lb tench i belive the linear complex has a very good head of 10lb + tench due to the amount of bait the carp lads use
It does get busy never been but heard the tails of how busy it gets was thinking of having a go early spring mid week to go have a go for them but dont know if i could cope with the rat race its whats realy turning me of carp fishing to many idiots all the gear and no idea fishing etiquette is fastly becoming extinctYes. I never thought I'd see a tench over 7lb in my part of the world. I suspect that reappraising my initial 6lb target to 7lb was pretty reasonable. Having my hand forced to up it to 8lb is probably a bridge too far, at least for a year or two.

I'm still one ounce short of a six, though the water I fish has produced 8's to the carp boys.
