Good track record with Barbel and proven catcher. Then again most good quality boillies are when applied correctly as part of a baiting campaign.

I have caught barbell and chub using XXX that was about 8/9 years ago...im not sure barbell are that fussy really if they are in the mood for a boilie or paste then I think just about anything decent will do !
