Carp

Tut Tut Timewaster :D

Actually I know some great spots for...em...Sorry just went back in time a few years! I am yet to catch a river carp, believe it or not. I do love carp fishing but....it has become a monster. I hope this will not happen to the world of Barbel fishing. I know it has to some extent, when sizes and "certain" captures seem to be the order of the day, but I am happy just fishing my own corner of my quiet river. Be it a 1lb'er or a 14lb'er, I don't care. Being there means more to me then catching the "biggest".

yep, they all count, but i'm not keeping score.

Three trips this season so far...4 jammy barbel on the first, 1 carp on the second, 1 carp on the last

Jeeeeez, I hope thats not set my trend for the rest of the season...I gave up carping to go for barbel this year...or so I thought :D

Cheers, Dave.
