Carp landing net

I need to buy a 42inch landing net for carp fishing, I don’t want to spend a great deal since I won’t be doing a great deal of carp fishing. But I do need to buy one that won’t fall to pieces. Has anyone got any advice, ones to buy, ones to avoid, old ones that offer good value secondhand.
Many thanks.

I bought the Korda Kaizen green 42” net as it was unbelievably light (ridiculously light!) and expected it to not last long but it’s great!
Very strong, well made, really rigid (and i’ll say it again) weighs almost nothing 👍

Where abouts are you Ralph as I have at least 1 spare one you can have for not much. I'm north east Birmingham
Hi Steve, thanks for the offer but I’m about two and a half hours away on the south coast. There are a number for sale down here just hoping someone suggests some of the brands I’ve seen are good ones.
I think lots of anglers/non anglers try carp fishing but then give up, so lots of kit around.

Hi Nigel thanks for your post. Good to have a recommendation, hope to spend less, but in the end I’ll pay what I have to to get a reliable solution.

Have you tried the Tackle Box Ralph (https://tacklebox.co.uk/)? They do a range of nets from major brands, but also their own "TB" brand. I have the TB Hi Carbon EZ Net 42 Inch net/pole and have been very pleased with it. Tackle Box also sell individual components - eg. arms, spreader block, mesh etc so if you're after a net alone rather than with a pole, you can make up your own.

@Richard Lea thanks for your opinion, I have used TB online for a while now, currently building a rod from one of their Darrent Valley specialist blanks. But Ihave never been to their shop, so I have not seen any of their own brand nets. Good to hear that you are pleased with their product. Another one for me to consider.
